Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials still has funds available through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to help with winter heating costs. Those that have not received assistance since October are encouraged to call and apply. LIHEAP is designed to help eligible households with their winter heating bills.

Funding is available for those using natural gas, propane, electric, fuel oil.

Eligible households will receive a one-time payment that will be sent to the fuel supplier on their behalf.

All households that meet the following income guidelines are encouraged to apply: Guidelines are based on the past 30 day gross household income and are as follows:

  • $1,508 6- $4,120
  • $2,030 7- $4,643
  • $2,553 8- $5,165
  • $3,075 9- $5,688
  • $3,598 10- $6,210

When applying a person will need to bring with them the following information:

  • Social Security Cards for all household members
  • Proof of the past 30 day gross household income
  • Current fuel and electric bills
