Ink must run in the veins of the Weiland family.

Janice Weiland has followed the lead of her son Gary by becoming a published author. Gary has recently been seen on national television competing on America Ninja Warrior and is known as the Fearless FAN-Man! Firefighter Amputee Ninja. He has also published four books in the Fischer the Amputee Firefighter Series. Now everyone will see where Gary got his talent for the written word.

Janice has now published “The Chipmunk in the Christmas Tree” and it is on sale on Amazon. The Chipmunk in the Christmas Tree is a story about a little boy who finds a surprise on Christmas morning that delights the whole family and creates a lasting memory. Janice wrote a wonderful holiday story about family and faith. Kira Houghton and Jamie Sowell provide the whimsical illustrations.

Janice is an intake specialist with Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials. We are proud of what she has accomplished. She does a lot for our clients and community. Her talent for acts of kindness and genuine care for others shine through in “The Chipmunk in the Christmas Tree”.
